Additional Annual Auction per 1 September 2014 - update
On 27 June 2014 we informed you about an intermediate auction of yearly capacity at Hilvarenbeek and Zelzate to be held on 1 September 2014. In this message we also stated that Surrender of Capacity would not be applicable for this auction.
Recently GTS decided otherwise and now will allow Surrender of Capacity (SoC) for the intermediate auction of yearly capacity at Hilvarenbeek and Zelzate for gas year 2014 (1 October 2014 – 1 October 2015) that will be held on 1 September 2014. Deadline for submitting your SoC request to GTS is 14 August 2014 12:00 LET. Surrendering capacity to GTS for this intermediate auction will follow the standard procedure that is in place for the regular auctions.
For the avoidance of any doubts, Surrender of Capacity does not relieve you from your contractual rights and obligations until your capacity has been resold at the auction and even then only for that part of your capacity that has been resold.
