Enhanced diversion possibilities
On Friday 24 March ACM has approved a proposal from GTS to enhance the diversion possibilities between the different types of network points at the same physical location on the border. The proposal will enter into force on 25 March 2017.
The enhanced proposal is subject to additional conditions related to auction mechanism in place at cross border interconnection points.
The main elements of the approved proposal are summarized below.
- Diversion between first come first served border points and cross border interconnection points is possible again and the allowed combinations will be published in the Transmission Service Conditions (TSC).
- The capacity that a shipper wants to divert from a first come first served point on the border to a cross border interconnection point shall:
♦ be offered in the capacity auction on PRISMA where the shipper can contract the capacity
♦ comply with the standard capacity products as defined in the NC CAM (annual yearly, quarterly and monthly capacity)
♦ be made known to the GTS 5 business days before GTS has to upload the capacity information to PRISMA, by means of the standard diversion request form on our website
- For the diverted capacity the highest tariff of the two involved network points will be applied
