Update VIPs implementation
On June 15, 2018 ACER and ENTSOG sent a letter to the European Commission with two proposals to solve the ambiguity with regard to the implementation of virtual interconnection points (VIPs). Last week, August 6, the Commission responded to the letter. Yesterday, August 22, ACER and ENTSOG published the relevant documents. Registered users can access the relevant documents here. In the foreseeable future GTS will give their view on the consequences this latest letter from the Commission may have for the implementation of VIPs in the GTS grid.
