The North West European Gas Transmission System Operators publish their Gas Regional Investment Plan

The North West European Transmission System Operators (TSOs) have published their Gas Regional Investment Plan 2013-2022 (NW GRIP 2013). It is the second edition of this regional statement on long-term gas infrastructure development and related topics.  The NW GRIP 2013 is the first of six Gas Regional Investment Plans to be published by TSOs in the coming months.
The NW GRIP 2013 provides an overview of all relevant developments in the region and specifically focuses on projects that will have a direct impact on the capacity at the internal and external borders of the region. It thus provides further information to shippers about which projects could provide additional capacity in the region.

Annie Krist, ENTSOG board member and managing director of Gasunie Transport Services said: ”This GRIP is the result of close cooperation between the TSOs in the nine countries which are covered in the North West European region. This continued cooperation between the TSOs has spanned the past few decades and is evident in the day-to-day operations of the gas network in this region.

The North West European TSOs are proud to present the NW  GRIP 2013. A consultation document has also been published in collaboration with NW GRIP 2013  and we invite all stakeholders  to give their feedback on this document to help develop it further. The content of this GRIP will be presented to stakeholders during the ENTSOG GRIP workshop to be held on November 26th in Brussels and on the meeting of the Gas Regional Initiative Northwest (GRI NW) that will be held in Stockholm on November 28th.  We hope that you will be able to attend either of these meetings.

Should you require any further information please contact the coordinator of the NW GRIP, Piet Nienhuis ([email protected]).
