Current GTS tariffs also valid at the start of 2017
After January 1, 2017, our 2016 tariffs will remain valid for a longer period of time. This was recently communicated by the Dutch authority ACM. The GTS general terms and conditions (TSC 2016) will also remain in force.
The reason is that ACM needs more time than was originally thought necessary to establish new rules on the GTS revenues for the period 2017-2021. These rules, which are described in the GTS Method Decision, determine our tariffs. The publication of the Method Decision is now expected in the first quarter of 2017. The ACM will then also announce when the new 2017 tariffs will come into effect.
GTS general terms and conditions
Because no major changes to the TSC are required, and the new tariffs will be announced after the first quarter next year, we have decided to publish an update of the general terms and conditions (TSC 2017) after the new tariffs have been announced.
As soon as the tariffs for the remaining months of 2017 have been announced, they can be compared with the 2016 tariffs, which will apply in the first months of 2017. The difference between the new tariffs and the invoiced, existing rates from 2016, will then be offset. This can be done in various ways, for example as quickly as possible with the 2017 tariffs or later, on the basis of the actual costs. We are currently in consultation with the ACM about the best way forward.
