ACM publishes new GTS method decision

On February 1, 2021, ACM published the final method decision for GTS.

This decision describes the method of regulation for GTS for the years 2022-2026 and the development of the allowed revenues in that period.

To determine the allowed revenues, ACM compares GTS's performance with that of other European TSOs. This comparison shows that GTS has become more efficient compared to the previous comparison from 2017. GTS is pleased with this recognition for the efforts it has made in recent years.ACM also decided to distribute GTS's capital costs differently over time. As a result, these will be brought more into line with the expected grid use in the coming years.Other areas in which ACM is implementing changes are the methods for determining the costs of investments and the reimbursement of the costs of capital.

GTS will study the method decision in more detail and provide an explanation of the decision to its customers during the market session on 24 February.
