Establishing a new exit point

We intend to establish a new exit point.
LNG terminal operator GATE has submitted a formal request to us to make it possible to contract exit capacity on their connection to the GTS network. We want to participate in this and create a new exit point.
This concerns an administrative gas flow. The physical flow remains unchanged: from GATE into the GTS network. Such constructions occur already at several other network points. The network point 301345 Rotterdam GATE will be bi-directional in an administrative sense by creating the exit point.

In this case, the determination of a new exit point may have a dampening effect on the tariffs. If more capacity is contracted with GTS, the tariffs will decrease. This is therefore a (positive) material effect.

In accordance with the LNB Gas Transport Code, if a plan has a material effect on network users, we must enter into consultation with the network users.
We do that through this news item.
