GTS presents in a market session the method decision 2022-2026 and tariff proposal 2022
On the 24th of February 2021 GTS organized a market session and presented two topics. The first topic concerns the new method decision 2022-2026 as recently published by ACM. The second topic concerns the tariff proposal for 2022 that GTS will submit to ACM on Monday 1st of March 2021.
The tariff proposal shows that the average total price for 2022 will increase by 17% compared to 2021. The entry prices will rise by an average of 22% and the exit prices rise by an average of 12%. The main reason for this price increase is a declining demand for transmission capacity in the network, mainly caused by declining domestic gas production and decreasing exports of low-calorific gas to neighboring countries.
