Peak tender for winter season 2023-2024 unsuccessful

From November 22 2022 to December 5 2022, GTS organized a tender to contract the necessary resources for peak supply 2023-2024.

For this winter season (December 2023 to February 2024), GTS wanted to conclude agreements on 21 plots of 977 MWh/h each; 10 G gas plots and 11 quality neutral plots (G or H gas).

Unfortunately, GTS received too few registrations to fully fill the requested capacity. In addition, the tenders received all offered too high a price and therefore no capacity was contracted.

GTS will consider possible alternatives to fulfill its legal peak task.
