Report usage of the L-gas means and methods gas year 2021/2022

Before the gas year, GTS has the legal obligation to advise the State Secretary on the Groningencapacity and production required for the security of supply for the coming gas year. In order to do this, GTS uses a model that commit L-gas resources in a way that results in the minimal Groningen production needed for the security of supply. When the gas year has ended, GTS reports on the realized deployment of resources and methods according to its statutory duty. In this report about the previous gas year model and realizations are compared. When there are major discrepancies between them, this may lead to an adjustment in the planning assumptions or model for the estimation of the Groningen production for next gas year. This will be tested at the market consultation.
